Sales Manager

KIT is looking to add a Sales Manager to our team.  We’re looking for that outgoing person who thrives on customer contact, is persuasive, organized, goal-oriented & has excellent written & verbal communication skills.


The Sales Manager position is responsible for the management of sales, as well as all direct sales of the KIT’s products and services. The Sales Manager reports directly to the COO.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  •  Achieve both quarterly and annual sales goals and objectives
  •  Identify and pursue sales opportunities within the defined territory. Drive business development
    and pre-sales initiatives by leveraging his/her industry and technical background.
  • Lead a virtual team to deliver the best possible customer experience and to successfully close the
    business opportunities
  • Develop multi-level relationships within targeted accounts
  • Establish and build on relationships with the principle big 4 consulting firms, SI’s and channel
    partners who can affect current/future business within accounts
  • Align with appropriate delivery teams to leverage follow-on business from one delivery mission to
  • Creates annual business plan for country to protect and grow the available renewal base of
    customer accounts in line with established revenue goals
  • Provides product training to expand customer awareness, address any defined user issues and to
    increase the number of users within existing installed facilities
  • Works in conjunction with KIT partners to achieve revenue expectations within the defined
    markets through new and on-going partner won engagements
  • Manages directly all product and services: sales, support, renewals and new business
    Coordinates and participates of all technical implementation work for product between product
    and customer
  • Responsible for all engagement amendment and supplement requests and completion of process
    and distribution
  • Responsible for pipeline Management in KIT’s customer relationship management tool Zoho
  • Liaise with the COO to ensure pricing quotations for customers, documentation and other support
    services as identified by customers and the business are completed
  • Undertakes weekly meeting with the VP and COO to ensure sales and operational objectives are
    being met
  • Builds and demonstrates knowledge of all KIT products, services, and delivery platforms available
    in order to do a superior job of product positioning and feature/benefits selling utilizing printing
    materials, electronic product demos and tutorials, and webinar sessions.
  • Actively participates in outbound prospecting, renewal calling and up-selling opportunities.
  • Schedules sales visits as required
  • Participates in market development activities by identifying areas that are under-developed and
    works with manager to create a sound business plan to implement initiatives to increase market
    penetration and increase sales
  • Attends and participates in regional and national Information Security conferences and trade
    shows as necessary as agreed upon with manager
  • Prepares and submits all pertinent reports accurately and on a timely basis as required.
  • Other duties as assigned

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or other related field
  • +5 years of sales and marketing experience in mid-large sized companies
  • +3 years of distributor management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Strong knowledge of MS office and Windows based computer applications
  • Experience with cloud based customer relationship management software (e.g. Zoho CRM,
  • Understand how to develop & manage strategic sales processes
  • Great prospecting skills (the ability to hunt for new business)
  • Understand how to maintain long terms relationships which lead to repetitive sales
  • Great presentation skills
  • Good rolodex of executive contacts
  • Experience in working with Channel Partners
  • Consistent achievement of quota

Preferred Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proven ability to create and maintain strong business relationships with all levels of customer
  • Able to work in fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly proficient level computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent organization, time management and presentation skills
  • Highly energetic and self-starter
  • Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills
  • Able to multi-task the activities with shifting priorities
  • Should be honest, assertive and systematic
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing and sales or related field of study (preferred)
  • Previous sales experience in the industrial market preferred
